Today’s “Word of the Day” is welch on and it is a phrasal verb meaning “fail to honour (promises), fail to keep a promise; break one’s word; fail to pay a debt; fail to do something that you have promised, agreed upon, or committed to do (as a part of a deal/agreement)”.
Example Sentence: In 1994, Ukraine signed the Budapest Memorandum with Russia, the U.S., and the United Kingdom.
