Today’s “Word of the Day” is top-down (approach) and it is a noun meaning “the top-down approach relies on higher authority figures to determine larger goals that will filter down to the tasks of lower level employees”.
Example Sentence: People who test positive or have come into contact with someone who tests positive are asked to isolate, but they aren’t followed up, nor offered financial support. The system’s top-down approach is inefficient.
