Today’s “Word of the Day” is “ temblor“ and it is a noun meaning “earthquake, earth tremor; “temblor” is an American word inspired by the Spanish word temblor, which means shake or tremble“.
Example Sentence: Though the full scale of the catastrophe is still emerging, the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria in the early hours of Monday morning is already known to have been one of the most deadly in decades, claiming thousands of lives.
