Today’s “Word of the Day” is “reckon with“ and it is a phrasal verb meaning “deal with, cope with, contend with, handle, tackle, face up to“.
Example Sentence: In Telangana, people will have to wait some more to get access to the top levels of administration and represent their grievances as the construction of the new secretariat building is unlikely to be completed any time soon… Whatever the reasons for the government to do this (i.e. demolishing the old secretariat complex) in a hurry, it is the people of the State who may have to reckon with a loss of governance quality.
