Today’s “Word of the Day” is “mulishness” and it is a noun meaning “the quality/trait of sticking firmly to an opinion, purpose, or course of action (and refusing to change them for anyone else); stubbornness, pigheadedness, doggedness, hardheadedness, obstinacy, pertinacity, opinionatedness, self-will”.
Example Sentence: The Supreme Court has repeatedly called for the establishment of a national tribunals commission to make suitable appointments and evaluate the functioning of tribunals. If the Government has been dragging its feet on this, it is only because there is a method to its mulishness.
