Today’s “Word of the Day” is impregnable and it is an adjective meaning “strong, unassailable, unconquerable, invincible, unbeatable, indestructible, undefeatable, indomitable, impenetrable”.
Example Sentence: Sitaram Yechury, along with his predecessor Prakash Karat, was instrumental in making the JNU an impregnable Left bastion. During his nearly five-decade political career, he broke several conventions, first of which was to become the president of the Students’ Federation of India.
