Today’s “Word of the Day” is egalitarian and it is an adjective meaning “relating to the idea that all people are equal and should have equal rights and opportunities; fair, just, equal, impartial, unbiased”.
Example Sentence: Radicalisation (extremism) generally succeeds only with those who have been subjected to real or perceived injustices. Let us remove injustice (unfairness/inequity) to combat terrorism. The creation of a truly just, egalitarian and non-oppressive society would be far more effective in combating terrorism.
