  1. will (noun) – desire, wish, preference.
  2. living will (noun) – an advance directive; written statement regarding an unconscious patient’s medical treatment based on that particular patient’s own desire provided when he/she was of sound mind, as the patient could not provide “informed consent” after going into coma.
  3. euthanasia (noun) – mercy killing, easy/assisted death; painless killing of a patient when his/her health  condition is beyond cure and irreversible.
  4. vegetative (adjective) – inactive, unconsciousness, insensibility.
  5. crystallise (verb) – become clear/definite, emerge, materialise.
