  1. rally (noun) – recovery, upturn, improvement (after decline).
  2. indices – plural of index (noun) – measure; guide, indication.
  3. foreign institutional investors (FII) (noun) – companies established or incorporated outside India and make proposals for investments in India. These include hedge funds, pension funds, mutual funds and insurance companies.
  4. correction (noun) – a decline or downward movement of a stock market.
  5. swift (adjective) – rapid, quick, fast.
  6. reflective (adjective) – thoughtful, contemplative, introspective.

  13. multi-bagger stocks & returns (noun) – (a stock which gives) multi-fold returns (more than 100%) to an investor in a short span of time.
  14. reminiscent (adjective) – similar to, comparable with, bearing comparison with.
  15. bear market (noun) – a share/financial market in which share prices are falling (or) are expected to fail/decline over a period of time. A “bear market” is any time period where stocks are declining in value.
  16.  bull market (noun) – a share/financial market in which share prices are rising (or) are expected to rise over a period of time. A “bull market” is any time period where stocks are going up in value.
  17. breadth (noun) – range, extent, scope.
  18. presage (verb) – portend, augur, foretell.
