- accumulate (verb) – gather/gain, obtain, acquire.
- merit (verb) – deserve, warrant, justify.
- radioactive (adjective) – having or producing a powerful and dangerous form of energy.
- chronic (adjective) – persistent, long-term, continuing (or happening again and again for a long time).
- chronic kidney disease (CKD) (noun) – a type of kidney disease in which there is gradual lossof kidney function over a period (of years). It often has no symptoms and is diagnosed by blood test.
