  1. gambit (noun) – plan, move, tactic, trick, scheme, strategy.
  2. classical chess (noun) – a type of chess in which players have more than 60 minutes to make all of their moves.
  3. rapid chess (noun) – a type of chess in which players have between 10 and 60 minutes to make all of their moves.
  4. blitz chess (noun) – a type of chess in which players have between 1 and 10 minutes to make all of their moves.
  5. bullet chess (noun) – a type of chess in which players have less than 1 minutes to make all of their moves.
  6. inevitability (noun) – certainty, belief, assurance; fact, truth, surety, sure thing.
  7. given (preposition) – considering, taking into account, bearing in mind.
  8. astonishing (adjective) – amazing, stunning, wonderful, incredible, impressive, extraordinary, remarkable, splendid.

  31. Grandmaster (noun) – Grandmaster is the highest title or ranking that a chess player can achieve. The Grandmaster title — and other chess titles — is awarded by the International Chess Federation, FIDE (acronym for its French name Fédération Internationale des Échecs), the Lausanne-Switzerland-based governing body of the international game.
