Polavaram Irrigation Project (noun) – it is on the river Godavari near Ramayyapeta village of Polavaram Mandal, about 34 km upstream of Kovvur-Rajahmundry road-cum-rail bridge and 42 km upstream of Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage, where river emerges out of the last range of the Eastern Ghats and enters the plains in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. This multi-purpose major irrigation project is intended for development of a gross irrigation potential of 4,36,825 ha. The project also envisages generation of 960MW of hydro power, drinking water supply to a population of 28.50 lakh in 611 villages and diversion of 80 TMC of water to Krishna river basin.

  48. Vizhinjam port project (noun) – the Vizhinjam International Seaport Project in Thiruvananthapuram, the country’s first deep-water transhipment port. It is designed primarily to cater container transhipment besides multi-purpose and break bulk cargo. The port is being currently developed in landlord model with a Public Private Partnership component on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer (“DBFOT”) basis. It is an ambitious project taken up by Government of Kerala. 
  49. transhipment (noun) – it means the unloading of goods from one ship and its loading into another to complete a journey to a further destination, even when the cargo may have to remain ashore (i.e. on the land) some time before its onward journey.

  59. cutting-edge (adjective) – advanced, state-of-the-art, innovational, pioneering, pathbreaking.
  60. base (noun) – the main/central place where a person works/stays; a centre of operations.
  61. house (verb) – accommodate, make space/room for, harbour, take in, provide with a place to.
  62. next-generation (adjective) – (of a product or technology) at the latest/forthcoming stage in development.
  63. energy transition (noun) – it refers to the global energy sector’s shift from fossil-based systems of energy production and consumption — including oil, natural gas and coal — to renewable energy sources like wind and solar, as well as lithium-ion batteries.
  64. artificial intelligence (AI) (noun) – an area of computer science that deals with giving machines the ability to seem like they have human intelligence.
  65. a helping hand (phrase) – assistance, aid, support, help.
