1. floating (interest) rate (noun) – variable or adjustable (interest) rate on debt obligation.
2. diktat (noun) – order, regulation, decree.
3. spur (verb) – stimulate, prompt, propel.
4. address (verb) – attend to, tackle, deal with.
5. head on (adverb) – if someone deals with a problem head-on, they do not try to avoid it, but deal with it in a direct and determined way .
6. benchmark (noun) – standard, guideline, basis.
7. repo rate (noun) – it is the rate at which the central bank of a country (RBI in case of India) lends money to commercial banks in the event of any shortfall of funds.
