  1. G-20 (noun) – The G20, formed in 1999, is a group of twenty of the world’s largest economies that meets regularly to coordinate global policy on trade, health, climate, and other issues. It brings together the world’s major advanced and emerging economies. The G20 comprises Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, EU, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, UK and USA. The G20 Countries together represent around 90% of global GDP, 80% of global trade, and two thirds of the world’s population.
  2. presidency (noun) – premiership, leadership, chairmanship, stewardship.
  3. etch (verb) – carve, engrave, inscribe, score, mark.

  29. supply chain (noun) – a dynamic network when a company purchases or uses goods or services from others. It involves people, information, processes, and resources involved in the production, handling, and distribution of materials and finished products or providing a service to the customer.
  30. disruption (noun) – disturbance, disorganization, interruption, disarray, turmoil, obstruction.
  31. given (preposition) – considering, taking into account, bearing in mind.
  32. lasting (adjective) – long-lasting, long-term, unceasing, continuing, persisting, persistent, irreversible.
  33. sanctions (noun) – action taken, or an order given to force a country to obey international laws by limiting or stopping trade with that country, by not allowing economic aid for that country, etc.

  43. voice (noun) – opinion, view, comment.
  44. harmonious (adjective) – coordinated, balanced, proportional, compatible; agreeable, cooperative.
  45. distress (noun) – instability, insecurity, precariousness, trouble, difficulty.
  46. tensions (noun) – strained relations, strain, unease.
  47. scrutiny (noun) – examination, inspection, investigation.

  54. the spotlight (noun) – the public attention, the focus of public/media; the public eye.
