- checks and balances (plural noun) – a system in which all departments of a government organization have right to amend/limit the powers of the other departments in order to avoid dominance of one department.
- glitch (noun) – problem, difficulty, issue/complication.
- Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) – it is a method of providing feedback to voters using a ballot-less voting system. it consists of physical paper records of voter ballots as voters have cast them on an electronic voting system.
- regressive (adjective) – negative, unprogressive, retrograde.
- plethora (noun) – excess, abundance, surplus/too many.
- grievance (noun) – complaint, criticism, objection/protest.
- fast track (verb) – quick, high-speed, expeditious.
- adjunct (noun) – supplement, addition, extra.
- deploy (verb) – position a troop for action.
- misgiving (noun) – doubt, suspicion, apprehension.
