- 27th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP27) (noun) – The 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP27) of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) was being held from 6 November until 18 November 2022 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. The participants include representatives of the 195 member-countries of the UN-COP, business persons, scientists, and members of indigenous and local communities and activists.

As of 2022, the number of member countries in the UNFCCC has reached 198. The first conference (COP1) was held in 1995 in Berlin. The 27th session (COP27) was held in 2022 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
