- stimulus package (noun) – an attempt by the government to boost economic growth and save their country from a financial crisis by involving tax cuts, lowering interest rates and increasing government spending.
- relook (noun) – reconsideration, rethinking, re-examination.
- tranche (noun) – part, section, portion (of something, particularly money).
- Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (or) Self-reliant India Mission (noun) – the special economic package totaling Rs 20 lakh crore by the Indian government to tide over the Covid-19 crisis and it would focus on land, labour, liquidity and laws. It would benefit labourers, farmers, honest tax payers, MSMEs and cottage industry. This economic package would be around the 10 per cent of India’s GDP.

- capital (noun) – the wealth (in the form of money and assets) needed to produce goods and services.

- fraction (noun) – a (small) proportion/part/amount of something.

- fiscal stimulus (noun) – Government measures, normally involving increased public spending and lower taxation, aimed at giving a positive jolt to economic activity.

- corporatise (verb) – to convert a government-controlled enterprise into an independent (commercial) company.
- monolith (noun) – a large structure, institution, company, industrial setup (like a giant standing stone).
- Ordnance Factory Board (noun) – it consisting a family of 41 Ordnance Factories, is a Government of India Undertaking, functioning under the Department of Defence Production of Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The ordnance factories form an integrated base for indigenous production of defence hardware and equipment, with the primary objective of self reliance in equipping the armed forces with state of the art battlefield equipments.
