- scathing (adjective) – devastating, scornful, harsh/severe.
- indictment (noun) – charge, accusation, allegation/citation.
- set aside (phrasal verb) – nullify, dismiss, reject.
- searing (adjective) – critical, strong, fierce.
- office of profit (noun) – a position/an office that provides to a person holding it some financial benefit.
- parliamentary secretary (noun) – The parliamentary secretary is a person appointed to help a minister and deputise in his work. He/she has a status below that of a minister. Since an oath of secrecy is administered, he/she has access to official papers.
