Today’s “Phrase of the Day” is wipe the floor with someone and it is a phrase meaning “to defeat someone very easily (in a game or an argument or a debate)”.
Example Sentence: There was no real contest in the vice-presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence. Harris wiped the floor with him. Pence ignored, patronized and talked over the two women in the room. Her strategy was cool competence. His was sexist entitlement.
