Today’s “Phrase of the Day” is the ink is barely dry and its meaning is “things change very quickly right after an agreement/contract is made between two people (things change even before the ink is dry, i.e, the ink is still wet on the agreement/contract document which has just been made)”.
Example Sentence: “We just made a great Trade Deal, the ink was barely dry, and the World was hit by the Plague from China. 100 Trade Deals wouldn’t make up the difference — and all those innocent lives lost!” Mr. Trump tweeted.
