Today’s “Phrase of the Day” is “take something in one’s stride” and its meaning is “to deal with a problem or difficulty in a calm & easy way and not allow it to have an effect on you”.
Example Sentence: The total withdrawal of a space so intimately linked to childhood must necessarily have been hard to endure for a lot of children. These would include children who might not have greatly enjoyed their daily chores at school and the curriculum (syllabus/subjects), as well as many children who might have taken online in their stride, despite the relentless stress it brought them.
