Today’s “Phrase of the Day” is “ be none the wiser” and its meaning is “not knowing about something; not understanding about something (even after it has been explained)”.

Example Sentence: In fact the whole controversy could have been avoided if an objective (impartial) and dispassionate (unbiased) analysis of this law had been made by all the stakeholders. The ballyhoo (publicity) by television channels has effectively clouded (confused) the issue. The target rating point (TRP) of channels has definitely increased but the public has been left none the wiser. The Kerala Lokayukta Act should be re-examined by a committee of the Assembly and should be brought on a par with the Lokpal Act.
