Today’s “Word of the Day” is replenish and it is a verb meaning “refill, fill up, recharge, reload; stock up, restock, restore”.
Example Sentence: Research shows that in every moment of your life, your brain regulates the insides of your body…The process is like running a household (family) budget, but instead of money, your brain budgets water, salt, glucose and other bodily resources… Actions that spend resources, such as exercise or stressful conversations, are like withdrawals from your account. Actions that replenish resources, such as eating, sleeping, and cuddling (hugging) a beloved pet are like deposits.
