Today’s “Word of the Day” is coop up and it is a phrasal verb meaning “to keep (a person/animal) inside a building or in a small space for a long period of time; confine, restrict, detain”.

Example Sentence: President Donald Trump said the federal government will not be extending its physical distancing guidelines once they expire Thursday. To underscore his confidence, Mr. Trump said on Wednesday he plans to resume out-of-state travel after spending more than a month mostly cooped up in the White House, starting with a trip to Arizona next week.
