  1. Voter-verifiable paper audit trail (VVPAT)  – it is a method of providing feedback to voters using a ballot-less voting system. it consists of physical paper records of voter ballots as voters have cast them on an electronic voting system.
  2. regressive (adjective) – retrograde, unprogressive, negative.
  3. deploy (verb) – use, utilize, employ.
  4. undertake (verb) – begin/start, embark on; attempt/try.
  5. blanket (adjective) – overall, general/complete, total & inclusive.

  17. naysayer (noun) – a person who always denies or opposes something.
  18. vet (verb) – assess, evaluate, appraise/examine  thoroughly.
  19. ahead of the curve (phrase) – be better than current thinking.
  20. manipulation (noun) – plot, trick/tactic, intrigue/stratagem.
  21. revert (to) (verb) – return, go back, come back.
  22. spear phishing (noun) – a tricky email attack that targets a specific organization or individual, seeking unauthorized access to sensitive information.
  23. decentralise (verb) –  move the power/control of a department/government from a single place to other locations.
