  27. (muscular) dystrophy (noun) – a group of diseases that make muscles weaker and less flexible over time. It is caused by a problem in the genes that control how the body keeps muscles healthy.
  28. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) – It is one of the most severe forms of inherited muscular dystrophies. It is the most common hereditary neuromuscular disease and does not exhibit a predilection for any race or ethnic group
