Today’s “Word of the Day” is upward mobility and it is a noun meaning “the ability or capacity to move to a higher social class (by obtaining wealth & status)”.
Example Sentence: The BJP wants to promote Hindi and replace English, going by public statements. But English remains the benchmark of upward mobility in the country, like it or not. The demand for English education is so high that it is difficult to find qualified teachers who can teach the language.
