Today’s “Word of the Day” is incandescent and it is an adjective meaning “very angry, furious, enraged, infuriated, fuming”.

Example Sentence: It was the revelation in 2013, courtesy of Edward Snowden  (an American whistleblower), that the U.S. National Security Agency had been bugging German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s personal mobile phone for years. She was incandescent when told, for once losing her famous impulse control.
