Today’s “Word of the Day” is brinkmanship and it is a noun meaning “the practice of trying to achieve an advantageous results by engaging in a dangerous issue or event to the edge of safety, especially in politics, by pushing dangerous events”.

Example Sentence: This week, the Kremlin upped the ante still further, requesting an “urgent” response from Washington and Nato to its demands.
