
Today’s “Word of the Day” is blip and it is a noun meaning “a minor, temporary change in something normal; a sudden, brief deviation from a regular trend”.

London’s new deputy mayor for transport, Seb Dance, recently said that driving will soon be “socially unacceptable”, a “blip” in the history of transport, and I couldn’t agree more… The necessity to radically rethink car use in London, and all of our cities, is something we can no longer ignore.
