- soaring (adjective) – rising/flying (high in the air).
- deep-space (noun) – another term for outer space; universe/cosmos, solar system/galaxy.

- rover (noun) – a space exploration vehicle designed to move and explore the surface of a planet or moon. A rover is mobile, and has wheels with which it can move.

- soft-landing (noun) – a landing by a spacecraft on the moon or a planet without any damage/destruction incurred to the vehicle.

- crash-landing (noun) – a sudden & emergency landing by a spacecraft on the moon or a planet with any damage/destruction incurred to the vehicle.
- touchdown (noun) – arrival, coming in, deplaning.
- gradient (noun) – an increase or decrease in the magnitude of a property (say, temperature).
- thermal conductivity (noun) – the thermal conductivity of a material is a measure of its ability to conduct heat.
- lunar (adjective) – it refers to the Moon.
- seismicity (noun) – a measure which encompasses earthquake occurrences, mechanisms, and magnitude at a given geographical location.
