  1. Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) (noun) – It is celebrated on 9th January every year since 2003 to mark the contribution of Overseas Indian community in the development of India.
  2. driver (noun) – a factor that causes a specific thing to happen.
  3. migration (noun) – the movement of people within the borders of the same country or across international borders in order to find work or better living conditions.
  4. inauguration (noun) – launch, start, beginning.
  5. diaspora (noun) – the people who spread/scatter from their own country to places across the world. Indian diaspora constitutes NRIs (Non-resident Indians) and PIOs (Persons of Indian origins).
  6. ambassador (noun) – representative, proponent, advocate, champion, campaigner, supporter, backer, upholder.
  7. seamlessly (adverb) – smoothly, consistently, continuously, effortlessly. 
  8. assimilate (verb) – absorb, take in, integrate, subsume, take over, embrace, accept, adopt, incorporate. 
  9. prosperity (noun) – success, well-being, welfare, fortune.
  10. thrive (verb) – flourish, do well, prosper, develop, bloom, burgeon, be successful, grow vigorously.

  14. Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (noun) – It is the highest honour conferred on overseas Indians. The awardees represent the excellence achieved by the Indian diaspora in various fields.

  17. Viksit Bharat@2047 (noun) – it represents the government of India’s ambitious vision to transform the nation into a developed entity by the centenary of its independence in 2047.   35. Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) Scheme (noun) – It was introduced by amending the Citizenship Act, 1955 in August 2005. The Scheme provides for registration as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) of all Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) who were citizens of India on 26th January, 1950 or thereafter or were eligible to become citizens of India on 26th January, 1950 except who is or had been a citizen of Pakistan, Bangladesh or such other country as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify.
