Today’s “Phrase of the Day” is “stay the course” and its meaning is “continue doing something in spite of difficulties; to continue doing something till the end even though it is tough/challenging; work hard till the end to accomplish the task”.
Example Sentence: Russia’s brutal air war persists because its original strategy failed, and failed not only due to extraordinary Ukrainian resilience, but also to the remarkable levels of support that Kyiv has received from outside. Those standing against Moscow’s aggression should not allow Mr Putin to distract them, but stay on course.
